Four players off the Wa-Hi softball team are members of the Washington Explosion 16A fastpitch softball team that won the ASA 16A State Championship at Columbia Playfields here Sunday. The Explosion downed the Lake Breeze, 4-0, in the title game. From left, pitcher/first baseman Hope Klicker, shortstop Libbie Jimenez, outfielder TraeAnn Payne and third baseman/catcher Kendsey Hill will now join the Explosion at the National Championship Tournament in College Station, Texas, the first week in August.
