MILTON-FREEWATER -- Up to 15 carvers are invited to compete in the Fifth Annual Logs to Frogs Chainsaw Carving Competition Saturday and Sunday at the Sallee lot on U.S. Highway 11 across from Express Car Wash.
A panel of qualified judges will choose the top three winners. A Quick Carve prize will be awarded for each day, and one People's Choice Award will be awarded at the end of the event. It's not just about frogs anymore -- this will be an open themed event.
The first place prize will be $1000, the second place prize will be $600, the third place prize will be $300 and the people's choice prize is $200. The winner of the Quick Carve competition will get a new chain saw.
