WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla School Board will hold a regular meeting Tuesday at 4 p.m. The scheduled time is a switch from the board's normal meeting time.
The board meeting is in the district's board room, 364 S. Park St., and is open to the public. The board will also be directed by new Walla Walla Public Schools Superintendent Mick Miller, who officially started with the district July 1.
The board plans to consider any new hires or resignations; any out-of-state travel requests, payment of July bills and payroll; surplus equipment and materials review; revision to board policy on high school graduation requirements; and WWVEA extra-curricular contract, as part of its consent agenda.
The board will also hear about a report on Blue Ridge Elementary use of adjoining property; review a preliminary board policy on online learning; and learn about heating and cooling upgrades at Blue Ridge as well as statewide energy efficiency grants.
