Local golfers at WJGA District 4 tournament

MOSES LAKE - Local golfers put in solid days at the Washington Junior Golf Association District 4 championships.

Jake Hansen hit a 78 on the par-72 Moses Lake Golf and Country Club course, placing him in the middle of the 16-17 boys age division.

Ryan Baumgart hit a 76, four strokes behind the leaders, tied at 72, in the boys 14-15 division.

For girls, Jessica Huntsman hit a 95 in the 14-15 age group and Emily Baumgart hit an 85 in the 12-13 division.

All of the local golfers competed on the full 18-hole course.

The district championship continues today at Lakeview Golf Course in Ephrata.
