Ivy Alma Silver, 104, fell asleep in Jesus on July 8, 2010 in College Place, Washington.
The Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Northside Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Ivy was born on Oct. 25, 1905 in Lake County, California to Stephen Martha Crawford Scott. She attended Yuba City, California area schools and graduated in 1921. On May 28, 1928, she married Wilbur Silver in Butte County, California. The couple had two sons, Kenneth Richard. Ivy was a nurse's aid and she and her husband were Bible Workers in the Nevada-Utah Conference of Seventh Day Adventists. She loved drying flowers and making bookmarks and cards which she freely gave away. She was also gifted in needlework. She enjoyed telling stories to all of her grandchildren. For the last 20 years, she lived with her son daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Viola.
Ivy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilbur Silver; 1 sister, Thelma Schroeder; 1 brother, Laroy Scott; 1 son, Richard Silver and 1 great granddaughter. She is survived by her son daughter-in-law, Kenneth Viola Silver; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren 9 great great grandchildren.
