Ada Norma Actor, age 90 years, of 103 Main St., Starbuck, died May 28, 2010, at her home. Private graveside services will be held at the family plot in the Starbuck City Cemetery. Those who wish may

Ada was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Midvale, Idaho. Her parents were Clarence and Leonora Carpenter Barton. She graduated from Starbuck High School with the class of 1938 and a year later married Fred Actor in a ceremony in Lewiston. They made their home in Starbuck, where she was a homemaker. Ada was a fish counter at Little Goose Dam and then attended school in Portland to work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Bonneville Dam. She retired in 1999 and returned to Starbuck. She was a member of the Starbuck Rebecca Lodge and loved to cook, fish and travel. Her most memorable trip was to Australia.
She is survived by a son, David Actor of Spokane; two daughters, Carol Wildman of Starbuck and Marcia Taylor of Canyon City, Ore.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
