WALLA WALLA -- Chip-sealing season for Walla Walla County roads begins today.
Work crews with the county Public Works Department will be working on various roads through July, said Amie White, administrative service manager. Drivers can expect delays ranging from five to 15 minutes in work zones.
Frequently traveled roads to be chip-sealed this year are Hart Road, Smith Springs Road, Piper Canyon Road east of Waitsburg, Bolles Road, McKay Road and Charbonneau Drive. Schedules for will be depending on weather and work demands, White said.
