Crow's Shadow sells prints at 40-percent off on Friday

Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts will offer a wide selection of fine-art prints at 40 percent off regular retail prices from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the storefront, 36 S. Colville St., Walla Walla.

The Friday evening sale will coincide with the ongoing ArtWALK event season.

Crow's Shadow staff will be available and visitors may peruse a wide range of hand-pulled prints -- including lithographs, monotypes and monoprints -- from American Indian and non-American Indian artists.

American Indian artists include James Lavadour, Rick Bartow, Edgar Heap of Birds, Truman Lowe, Kay WalkingStick, Joe Feddersen, Marie Watt, Larry McNeil, Lillian Pitt, Ramon Murillo, Phillip John Charette, Jeremy Red Star Wolf and more. Other artists include Don Gray, Wuon Gean Ho, Zhang Yunling and Marty Vreede.

Proceeds from print sales help sustain Crow's Shadow and its mission "to provide educational, social and economic opportunities for Native Americans through artistic development."
