Walla Walla County Commissioners are Greg Tompkins, Perry Dozier and Gregg Loney. With all present, commissioners Tuesday voted as follows:
- contract: Approved personal services contract between county Juvenile Justice Center and June McKenzie to provide yoga classes for identified youths. Unanimous.
- consent agenda: Approved consent agenda items which included setting salaries for certain county elected officials for 2013-2014 and the county prosecuting attorney, amending contract with the state Department of Corrections for use of County Jail to hold DOC offenders, contracts for work at fairgrounds and other matters. Unanimous.
- bridge deck: Approved contract with Wheeler company of Benton City, Wash., for timber deck for McEntyre Bridge on Scott Road. Company was low bidder with offer of $86,795. Unanimous.
- public works: Approved requests by the Port of Walla Walla to paint stripe airport runway and do street work and by city of Prescott for road work. Port and city to reimburse county for costs. Also approved request by director of Walla Walla Crush Walk-Fun Run to use certain county roads on Oct. 2 for event. Unanimous.
