The Walla Walla Symphony and local horse groups will pair again this year at 3 p.m. June 13 for a unique afternoon of western riding and horsemanship with live symphonic music at the Walla Walla Fairgrounds Expo Arena, 363 Orchard St.
Edward Dixon conducts the Walla Walla Symphony with riders Ruben Villasenor, the Walla Walla Wagonettes, Crossfire, Daryl Hopson, Jennifer Gregory and Kristin Heilbrun, the Blue Mountain Riders, the Umapine Riders, Heidi Thomas and Sharee LaRue, Cynthia Hoffman, Edward Morris, Cathy Sauer and vaulters from the Happy Horse Riding School.
Music will include "Raider's March" by John Williams, Bizet's "Carmen Suite," "Send In the Clowns," Carousel Waltz," "Hoedown" from "Rodeo," "Theme from Star Trek," "James Bond Medley" and more.
Mini horses will greet the audience as they arrive. Food and drinks will be available.
