WALLA WALLA - A man and woman were arrested after an armed robbery early Saturday morning.
According to police, the man and woman entered a house near Garrison Street and Tausick Way at 7 a.m., where they threatened the 57-year-old male occupant with a knife. The occupant said he vaguely knew the couple.
The man and woman took a laptop computer and fled the scene in a vehicle, police said.
Police said a witness in the area was able to give them a license plate number.
A short while later police pulled over the vehicle and arrested Katie A. Waite, 20, and Owen J. Thomas, 18, both of Walla Walla, for investigation of robbery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
