Warren Harding Gibson was born July 20,1921, to Samuel & Anna Gibson in New Castle,Wyoming.
He had four sisters, Suzie, Katherin, Dorothy and Betty; and four brothers, Dave, Jim, Boyd and Milton.
He spent most of his life on a farm and he and his brother Boyd, sometimes became quite a challenge to his then single mom.
He spent his adult life in construction.He was a hard worker and expected the same from those around him.
He was married to Leanora, and they had five children, Linda, Rae Ann, Kathleen, Delena and Michael. They were later divorced.
He married his second wife, Elanore, who later died of cancer. He then married Maxine Tetrick, thanks to her Aunt who introduced them, and attended the Nazarene Church in Walla Walla where Warren also attended at that time.They have been happily married for 26 years and Maxine remains and still resides in Pomeroy.
Warren always had lots of energy and enjoyed his home and his grandkids and great-grandkids.Warren and Maxine traveled when they were able, they enjoyed parking their trailer and spending time with friends.
He has four children; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two step-children, Karen Hill and Kurt Tetrick and their four children; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; his brothers, Dave, Jim, Boyd; and sister, Suzie.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Pomeroy Christian Church in Pomeroy, June 10, 2010, at
10 a.m. with the Rev. Frank Musgrave officiating. Donations may be made to The Shriners Childrens Hospital in Warrens name or to the Garfield County HUGS Womens Auxillary. Internment will take place at a later date in Spokane,Washington.
