WALLA WALLA -- A local lawyer has announced his intention to seek the part-time Walla Walla County District Court judge position now held by Jerry Votendahl.
Kristian Hedine filed for election to the post this morning, according to the County Auditor's Office website.
Hedine has been in private practice since 1982. He practiced for 15 years with the firm of Reese, Baffney, Schrag & Hedine, then as in-house counsel for a telecom startup, according to his law firm's website.
In 2001, Kris founded Virtual In-House Counsel, currently located at 2225 Isaacs Ave, Suite A. His practice includes representation in business formation, contracts, labor and employment issues, and estate planning and trusts, the website says.
Hedine serves on committees for the Washington State Bar Association, volunteers with community foundations and serves on two non-profit boards.
