WALLA WALLA -- A Walla Walla man was being treated this morning after being stabbed in the leg, according to a Walla Walla police report.
The victim, Robert W. Lawson, 19, was stabbed in the thigh and calf about 5:35 a.m. this morning. Details on where the assault took place, and who stabbed him, were still being investigated this morning.
Lawson may have been stabbed by a passenger in his vehicle, or at a party that Lawson and some acquaintances attended earlier in the night.
Detective Sgt. Matt Wood said detectives were working through the morning on the case. He said Lawson was being treated for his injuries, and that details of the attack were still being worked out. No arrests had been made as of 10 a.m. today.
