Beverly Elaine Gilman passed away surrounded by her family at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born in Walla Walla to Roland and Pauline Loney.

She loved horses and was a Farmerette in high school.

Bev married her high school sweetheart, Dick Gilman, in 1957 and had three daughters, Kellie, Kim and Karina. Her pride and joy were her 5 grandchildren, Ross, Keni, Joseph, Garrett, and Lexi. With Dick, she enjoyed many years involved with the Walla Walla Historical Auto Club.
In recent years, Bev married Ken Young and spent many winters enjoying Arizona.

She had a lifelong love of the outdoors, enjoying camping, fishing, the Blue Mountains, and Priest Lake Idaho.Bev embraced every activity with passion, and loved to paint, carve, and play tennis. She cherished so many close friendships on her journey through life.

Her father, Roland Loney, and her husband, Richard Gilman, preceded her in death. Beverly is survived by her mother, Pauline Loney Chase, daughter Kellie Van Brunt and husband Dwight, Kalispell, MT; daughter Kim French and husband Kevin, Walla Walla, WA; and daughter Karina McCafferty and husband John, Spokane, WA; grandchildren: Ross Van Brunt, Kendrik Van Brunt, Joseph French, Garrett French, and Alexandria McCafferty; brother- and sister-in-law Don and Lynne Gilman, Redmond, OR, and their three children, Cheryl, Cindy and Cory.

Memorial contributions, of donor's choice, can be made through Herring Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla.A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 26th between 1:00 and 4:00pm at the Golden West Estates Clubhouse. Please bring your favorite memories to share.
