PENDLETON -- Hamley's Slickfork Saloon, 8 S.E. Court St., hosts a "Roundup of Talent" at 7 p.m. Saturday to raise funds to assist Emmett Evans, 30, with medical bills.
On Jan. 17, Evans was seriously injured at a calf roping event in Walla Walla.
He has had several surgeries on his leg and faces a long recovery.
Eight different acts are on tap, each scheduled to perform two to three numbers.
There will be a $10 entrance fee at the door -- half will go to Evans' benefit fund and half to cover Hamley's expenses. Evans' family will host a silent auction at the event.
An account has been established for Evans at Banner Bank for donations.
