The Walla Walla Native Plant Society will host Tom Dwonch, executive director of the Blue Mountain Land Trust, on Wednesday, 7 p.m., at Whitman College Hall of Science, Room 142 near the greenhouse.
Dwonch will discuss the Wetland Mitigation Project on a 23-acre parcel near Reser Road. Plans call for the marshy area to be restored as native wetland and planted with native vegetation and grasses.
