WALLA WALLA - The Walla Walla School Board will meet in a special session Tuesday to select six semifinalists for the district superintendent position.
The board will meet in executive session from 5 p.m. until about 7:30 p.m., then hold a public session starting about 7:35 p.m. to discuss and select the semifinalists.
Both meetings will be in the School District's administrative offices, 364 S. Park St. The executive session is closed to the public.
The board hopes to name a new superitendent by mid-March to replace Rich Carter, who will retire at the end of the current school year.
