Former Dayton resident, Imogene Huston, 99, died March 8, 2010, at Odd Fellows Home of Oregon in Portland, Oregon. The funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, March 12, 2010, at Hubbard-Rogg Funeral Home, 111 S 2nd, Dayton, WA. Burial will follow at Dayton City Cemetery.
Imogene was born August 9, 1910, in Dayton, WA to Charles and Isabelle (Tilley) Martin. She attended schools in Dayton growing up. She and Cres Huston were married Dec. 23, 1933.He passed away in 1983.
She enjoyed the outdoors, flower gardening, the fall trees, and spring flowers. She also liked to play dominos. She lived in Portland and Dayton, but always called Dayton "home". She was a past member of the Rebecca Lodge.
Survivors include one son, Douglas Dean Huston of Ocoee, FL; three grandchildren, Dean Huston of Greenville, SC, Charlena Anderson of Portland, OR, Peter Huston of Ocoee, FL; three great-grandchildren, Anthony Huston, Christopher Anderson and Abby Huston.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cres, and her sisters and brothers.
