The WWCC Jazz Combo performs live 7:30 p.m. March 15 at the Walla Walla Community College China Pavilion, 500 Tausick Way.
The evening will feature unique solo and group improvisational arrangements of a wide variety of American jazz and blues classics, including music by the great American composers, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Thelonious Sphere Monk.
Complementing the student instrumentalists will be several student vocalists performing a variety of music, including the standards "Autumn Leaves," "Fly Me To The Moon," "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams," Van Morrison's "Moondance," and Ellington's "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing."
