Arnold David Neble, 82, of Everett,died Feb. 6, 2010, ending a long battle with Parkinson's and diabetes.Arnie was born to Alfred and Nora Neble on May 6, 1927.
Spending his early childhood and education in the Everett area, he graduated from Everett High School in 1945. He went on to further his education at Everett Junior College and Washington State University and was a lifelong Cougar fan. Arnie also spent a year in the Navy before starting his career.
Arnie had a long career in the insurance and financial industries in the Seattle, Tri-Cities and Walla Walla areas. He was an avid golfer and sports fan.
Arnie was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois; his second wife, Marilyn; parents, Alfred and Nora Neble; sister, Sandra Michaelson and daughter, Patti Michelson.
He is survived by his wife, Alicia Neble; daughter, Nedra Neble; son, David (Sue) Neble; stepchildren, Chris Stroh, Craig (Diane) Smalley, Curtis (J.R.) Smalley and Cory Smalley; grandchildren, Ryan and Marcus Neble; many cousins and extended family in the Puget Sound area.
Arnie will be truly missed and the family wishes to thank the loving staff at Bethany of Silver Lake and Providence Hospice for its excellent care of Arnie during his last days.
Graveside service will be held at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb., 26, 2010. Refreshments following at Solie Funeral Home.
