Sept. 1920 - Feb. 14, 2010

Elizabeth Ann Coyle Reynolds, 89, died Feb. 14, 2010, in Tacoma. At her bedside were children Betty Ann, Donald, Mary Jo, Jim, Mike and Susie. Betty was a loving mother.

Betty was born in September 1920 to Walter and Anna Coyle in Walla Walla. Her brothers are Walter Clarence, Donald Forest, and a sister, Helen L Korfhage.

Betty graduated from Walla Walla High School. She attended Whitman College and Deaconess School of Nursing in Spokane. She graduated from Deaconess Hospital with a degree as R.N. She continued serving at the Deaconess Hospital for several years.

She married Mick Reynolds and had six children, continued family of seven grandchildren.

After retirement from nursing, she became a Girl Scout leader. Her favorite part was teaching the girls to the joys of camping and cooking over an "open fire". She was a great, "from scratch cook," never measured anything.

Betty and Mick were active in boating, upon retirement, they lived in their converted bus and traveled through out the United States, visiting friends and enjoying life.

After Mick died, Betty lived with her daughters, Marg Jo and Susie.

At Betty's request, there will be no service. Family members will gather at the Coyle summer cabin and share, many years of memories.

Betty's request is that if you desire please give a donation to Smile Train. Help children with clefts and other problems. Donate online: www.smiletrain.org or call 1-800-932-9541.

She was loved and cared for as she did for all.

"We Love You a Bushel and A Peck!" A bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck. XOXO!
