COLLEGE PLACE - The College Place Lions Club has a permit from the Department of Fish and Wildlife to sponsor a fishing tournament at Lions Park here on April 17.
The tournament is for youth 14 years and younger and will start at 8 a.m.
More than 500 fish, including some 1.5-pound trout, will arrive on April 16.
Youth can begin fishing at 8 a.m. on April 17.
Youth who participate will have an opportunity to win prizes later in the day.
There is no fee for participation.
