Willow's Annex Gallery @ Trio, 596 Piper Ave., will host a show titled "Amy Rogers: Encaustic" Saturday through June 27.

Rogers, of Athena, enjoys working in a variety of media, but is currently focusing on her exploration of encaustic painting, according to a news release.

A freelance graphic designer by trade, Rogers worked as a graphic designer and art director before recently moving back to eastern Oregon, where she was born and raised. While continuing her freelance design business, she is stepped back into studio arts after taking a hiatus to raise her young children.

Rogers is a member of the Arts Council of Pendleton board, and her work was most recently displayed at the Pendleton Center for the Arts Craft Gallery.

Rogers will be at an artist reception at Willow, 2 E. Rose St., 5-8 p.m. April 2.
