BURBANK -- A Milton-Freewater man died Saturday after a one-car crash on U.S. Highway 12.
According to the Washingon State Police, the crash occurred at 11:25 a.m. southeast of Humorist Road when a car driven by William Hunt, 72, drifted off the highway. The vehicle went through a fence, across the frontage road and struck a wooden bench on private property.
Hunt was taken by ambulance to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, where he was pronounced dead. Police said the cause of the accident was a medical problem.
