Further proof that it's a small world after all and that a Walla Walla product that takes stains away has staying power: Wine Away red stain remover has been chosen as a product of Disney's fifth annual California Food & Wine Festival.
Wine Away will be presented to guests during the festival April 16-May 31, according to an announcement from Evergreen Labs, the Walla Walla firm that manufactures and distributes the product.
"Disneyland is one of our favorite places to visit, and to be part of Disney's Food & Wine Festival seemed like a natural pairing for Wine Away," said Staci Wanichek, president of Evergreen Labs, in a prepared statement.
Wanichek and her sister, Cheryl Corn, vice president of Evergreen Labs, own and operate the 13-year-old company.
Their Wine Away new Emergency Kits will be given to festival participants in gift bags. Seminar attendees will also receive Wine Away travel-size packets.
The product will also be presented to guests at the private Lassetter Family Winery dinner at Disney's exclusive Club 33. John Lassetter is the chief creative officer at Pixar. He directed Academy Award-winning flicks "Toy Story," "A Bug's Life," "Toy Story 2," and "Cars."
