Pipeline safety: Presentation by Art Coulombe of the state Pipeline Safety Committee.

triathlon: Request by Walla Walla University to use certain county roads on May 23 for Tin Man Triathlon.

hearing examiner: Annual report on activities by county Hearing Examiners.

TUESDAY

Workshop: Presentation by county personnel and risk manager on voluntary employee program for reimbursement of health-care expenses and premiums. Discussion of 2013-2014 salaries for certain county elected officials.

identity theft: Review and approve identity theft prevention program for city.

reports: Reports on the Whitman Drive Central Corridor Project and update on city water reservoir.

DIXIE SCHOOL BOARD

When: Monday, 6 p.m.

Where: Dixie School.

PERSONNEL: Discuss superintendent's contract. Also consider hiring new teacher.

CO-OP: Consider approving participation in special education co-op.

BUS: Consider approving new bus pad. Also consider purchasing a bus and declaring a used one as surplus.

REPORTS: Hear reports from superintendent and business manager.

SIGN: Discuss neighbor's request to post school grounds as closed after dark.

RACE TO THE TOP: Consider supporting Race to the Top participation.

DAYTON CITY COUNCIL

When: 7 p.m. Monday.

Where: City Hall, 111 S. First St.

PARADE: Consider request from Dayton High School Alumni Association for parade street closure.

LEASE: Consider approving lease agreement with Verizon.

POOL: Consider approving contract with Flynn Electric for Dayton swimming pool pump and installation.

CLOSED SESSION: Will meet in executive session to discuss potential litigation.

A-W SCHOOL BOARD

When: Monday, 7 p.m. An executive session is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. and a budget committee meeting at 6 p.m.

Where: Athena Elementary School, 375 S. Fifth St.

RETIREMENT: Report from superintendent on retirement incentive for teachers.

HIRES: Consider extra-duty contracts for 2010-2011 school year.

CALENDAR: Consider adopting 2010-11 calendar.

DONATION: Consider accepting donation for Weston Middle School.

POLICIES: Consider adopting board policies on feature films; graduation requirements; family medical leave; talented and gifted program; and use of restraint and seclusion.
