Bill Betts looks over his shining red 1911 Ford Model T after taking it for a short drive earlier this morning on Old Milton Highway and Taumarson Road. Betts said he is preparing this Model T for the "Learn to Fly" day at Martin Airfield this Saturday with other antique cars and some antique planes. "It's pretty but it's not as easy to drive as a regular Model T," Betts said of his Torpedo model that was, "the sports car of 1911 and 1912." When describing his hobby building and restoring historic cars, Betts said, "I've got a Model A and another Model T. It's a disease. It's incurable." Friday, May 14, 2010
