Mac-Hi students recognized for work on Marie Dorion Park

MILTON-FREEWATER -- Several McLoughlin High School students were recognized on Friday for their work to spruce up Marie Dorion Park, including the addition of new historical placards which they made.

The Technology Student Association members were recognized at an unveiling ceremony for creating new signs for the spire monument and the steps that lead to the spire.

A new redwood park sign that was made at Washington State Penitentiary and purchased by the city was also dedicated on Friday.

Marie Dorion Park is located east of Milton-Freewater on Couse Creek Road.
