THEFTS, BURGLARIES

WW Police

1500 block Truman Street. Vehicle prowled, tools and tool case taken.

900 block Shasta Drive. Monday. Unlocked vehicle prowled, wallet and contents, including i.d. and credit cards, keys, cell phone and glasses taken.

WW County Sheriff

Casey Pond boat launch, Burbank. Window broken on parked vehicle. Fishing rods and reels stolen.

CP Police

200 block Southeast Mountain View Drive. House burglarized some time within the past month. DVD player, punching bags and miscellaneous personal items stolen.

MF Police

700 block Lamb Street. Money order stolen.

900 block Cowl Street. Landscape lights stolen.

Columbia County Sheriff

600 block South Second Street, Dayton. Wallet stolen from gym locker.

COLLISIONS

WW Police

1200 block West Pine Street. 12:04 p.m. Monday. A driver attempted to pass a slowed down or stopped car on the right and collided with that car as it began to turn right.

1800 block East Isaacs Avenue. 10:38 Tuesday. Parking brake not set correctly, truck rolled and damaged another parked vehicle.

WW County Sheriff

Mill Creek Road near Looking Glass Road. 6:26 a.m. Tuesday. Driver drove vehicle in to a large puddle, hydroplaned and lost control. The vehicle struck a utility pole. No injuries.

Columbia County Sheriff

Whiskey Creek Road, Dayton. Vehicle accident, no injury. Vehicle on side in the roadway.

ARRESTS

WW Police

Anthony James Fletcher, 24, 748 N. 12th Ave. Tuesday. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.

MF Police

Kathy Ann Thomas, 811 1/2 N. Main St. Today. Charge: investigation of second-degree theft.

FIRE, AMBULANCE RUNS

WW Ambulance

Ninth Avenue and Main Street. 2:16 p.m. Tuesday. Motor-vehicle crash. A 20-year-old woman with minor injuries was taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center.

VANDALSIM

WW Police

300 block East Cherry Street. Vehicle windshield smashed.

900 block East Isaacs Avenue. Paint balls shot at vehicle several times.

WW County Sheriff

100 block Columbia Way, Wallula. Monday. Two tires slashed on vehicle.

CP Police

Kiwanis Park. 400 block Southeast Third Street. Fire extinguisher discharged inside the rest room and chemicals covered the entire floor. It was determined the fire extinguisher used was taken from a recent theft in the 200 block Northeast Ash Street.
