WWCC students present works at 35th annual juried art show

Walla Walla Community College will present its 35th annual juried art show Friday through June 8.

The work is displayed in the two gallery spaces adjacent to classroom 117 on the WWCC campus. A reception for the artists is 2:30-4 p.m. in the galleries.

Students who have taken art classes during the 2009-2010 school year are eligible to enter. Dawn Forbes and Sara Wyman are this year's judges.

The work entered will be from a variety of art classes, including drawing, design, painting, digital design and ceramics.

The show typically draws more than 100 entries, said WWCC art instructor Lisa Anne Rasmusson. Six Equal Merit awards of $75 each are given out.
