WALLA WALLA - Alex Aadmodt, a runner from Walla Walla Valley Academy, also qualified for the Class 2B state track meet at the District 9 Track and Field championships last weekend in Clarkston.
Aamodt qualified in the 800 meter, placing second in 2:11.30.
He will not be able to attend the meet due to WWVA's religious affiliations and has forfeited his position to the No. 3 finisher, Tekoa-Oakesdale-Rosalia's Drake Hinkins, who finished in 2:14.33.
