Yakama Nation Runners participating in the "Run Strong ... Run with Your Heart," two-day, 140-mile relay run to Fort Walla Walla Museum, 755 Myra Road, are expected to arrive at the Museum about 1 p.m. on Saturday. The public is invited to witness their arrival at the museum.
Participants will begin the run 9 a.m. Friday, at the Yakama Nation Museum and Cultural Center in Toppenish. The event is held to honor the 30th anniversary of the Cultural Center and to acknowledge the signing of the Treaty of 1855.
