- Leslie G. Guthrie, 49, 116 Bush St., was charged Oct. 27 with first-degree identity theft and second-degree theft. Guthrie is accused of knowingly using or transferring a means of identification of another person between Feb. 17, 2009, and Aug. 28, 2009; and wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property between Feb. 17, 2009, and May 26, 2009.
- Fausto Diaz-Lara, 19, 53066 Appleton Road, Milton-Freewater, was charged Oct. 28 with second-degree assault and with harassment. Diaz-Lara is accused of assaulting a person, and knowingly and unlawfully threatening to kill the person on June 5.
- Charles V. Molthen, 23, New Plymouth, Idaho, was charged Oct. 28 with second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission, second-degree malicious mischief, and driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. Molthen is accused of intentionally taking, driving away or voluntarily riding in a vehicle without permission; knowingly and maliciously damaging property; and driving under the influence on Sept. 25.
