WALLA WALLA -- A rollover crash at Fourth Avenue and Orchard Street sent to people to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Walla Walla Police say two vehicles collided at the intersection around 3:35 p.m. after one driver failed to stop at a sign.
Cody Furstenberg, 17, of Walla Walla, was southbound on Fourth Avenue in 2005 Ford Focus but told police he did not see a stop sign at the intersection. He proceeded into the roadway, crashing into an eastbound 1997 GMC sport-utility vehicle driven by Joana Villa of Walla Walla.
The impact knocked over the SUV, which landed on its top on the southeast corner of the intersection, Walla Walla Police spokesman Tim Bennett said.
Villa and passenger Salvidor Vega Jr., 12, were both treated and released at Providence St. Mary Medical Center.
