Walla Walla Symphony's Gourmet Gala fundraising event will be 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center.
Sponsored by Baker Boyer Bank, the gourmet, four-course dinner by Chef Bear Ullman features courses titled "Allegro," "Adagio," "Wisp of a Scherzo" and "Finale." Each course will be paired with a L'Ecole No 41 wine picked by Chef Ullman and accompanied by the Walla Walla Symphony String Quartet.
Ticket price for the evening is $80 per person. A table of 10 is $750. Seating is limited to 100 attendees, and reservations are required. All proceeds benefit the Walla Walla Symphony. Hors d'oeuvres and dancing round out the evening. Live and silent auctions will include a Holland-America cruise with Horizon Air tickets, overnight packages to Seattle, free golf, Anthony's Restaurant gift certificate, Seattle theatre tickets, a Wildhorse gift basket, a chance to conduct the Walla Walla Symphony and much more. Diners can dance to the music of the Johnny No Land Band.
