YAKIMA - Dayton's state volleyball run ended in the Washington State Class 2B Volleyball Championships consolation semifinals against Bear Creek Saturday.
The Bulldogs lost in four sets, 25-17, 24-26, 25-14, 25-19.
Dayton advanced quarterfinal round with a 25-19, 25-12, 26-24 victory over Wahkiakum at the SunDome Friday morning. Darrington handed the Bulldogs a 25-17, 24-26, 25-14, 25-19 defeat to put Dayton into the consolation semifinals against Bear Creek Saturday.
The Bulldogs' State run ended there.
Reardan played La Conner for the 2B State title Saturday evening, taking the crown in a five set thriller, 25-18, 25-21, 19-25, 11-25, 15-11.
