Orris Lee May passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, in Kennewick.
He was born in Walla Walla on July 23, 1942, to William Orris and June Carpenter May. He attended local schools. He graduated from college with a degree in psychology and pursued a career in counseling. He resided in Walla Walla until the last few years when
he moved to the Tri-Cities.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of the Herring Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla. Private family interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice through the funeral home.
Lee is survived by his mother, June May of Walla Walla; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Joe Fischer of Kennewick; one son, Michael May of Kennewick; one sister, Sandee and husband Rick Ricketts
of Ocean Shores, Wash.; four grandchildren, Kelsie Clayton, Tyler Clayton, Maxwell Lee Fischer and Jack Henry Fischer. He was preceded in death by his father, W. Orris May.
