Chase has officially opened the doors of its new College Place branch and will celebrate with a grand opening this weekend.

The 4,100-square-foot bank branch quietly opened at its second area location at 1715 Meadowbrook Blvd. The new building, located next to Panda Express at Meadowbrook Plaza, features four drive-through lanes -- one of which includes an ATM -- and a walk-up ATM. Branch Manager Mary Kasma leads a staff of eight employees at the branch.

According to an announcement from the company, the new location was best for offering "convenience, accessibility and ease of doing business for our present and future customers."

The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce will help welcome the new business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening that starts Saturday at 9 a.m. The ribbon-cutting will be 9:30 a.m. For more information, call Chase at 525-1570.
