- PERSONNEL: Approved hiring Heidi Braman as intervention specialist at Berney Elementary; Ian Gregoire as intervention specialist at Green Park Elementary; Taren Hartzheim as a temporary food service assistant at Prospect Point Elementary; and Melissa Teal as a temporary food service assistant at Blue Ridge Elementary. Unanimous.
- BILLS: Approved payment of monthly bills from general fund for $390,846.05; from capital projects fund for $741,680.79; and associated student body fund for $56,093.47. October payroll was $3,950,814.58, and preliminary November payroll is $4,750,000. Unanimous.
- WEB: Heard presentation on Pioneer Middle School WEB Kids, which stands for "Where Everyone Counts." The program pairs sixth-grade students with eighth-graders for mentoring and support.
- FACILITIES: Approved study and survey of facilities needs, a necessary step to seek state matching dollars should a bond resolution for improved high school facilities be put to voters. Also approved resolution on lack of space availability in surrounding districts. Unanimous.
