Registration opens for seminar to help beef producers be more competitive


WALLA WALLA - Registration for a seminar to help beef cattle producers be more competitive is now open.

The deadline for registration to the "Blue Mountain Beef Information Day" is Tuesday. A fee of $15 is required and includes dinner.

Registration forms are available at the WSU-Walla Walla County Extension Office, 328 W. Poplar St. and at the extension offices in Dayton and Pomeroy.

The seminar will be held from 4-9 p.m. on Nov. 30 at the Walla Walla Community College Water and Environment Center and at the college's Clarkston campus with presenters linked to both sites via interactive satellite.

The event is being sponsored by the Washington State University Extension in cooperation with Walla Walla Community College and Pfizer.
