Dayton takes straight-set win over Tri-Cities Prep

DAYTON - Dayton's volleyball team rolled to a straight-set win over Tri-Cities Prep Thursday, 25-18, 25-8, 25-16.

The win evened the Bulldogs record at 3-3.

"We worked on limiting our unforced errors," said Dayton head coach Shannon Turner. "We set the ball up well and did a good job of covering the net.

Nicole Lambert posted eight digs and two aces for Dayton and Kayla Turner notched four aces and nine kills. Darcy Hall added 18 assists and Shelby Smith led the Bulldogs with 11 kills.

Dayton hosts Waitsburg-Prescott Tuesday.
