LuDeane Rachel Baumann, passed away Sept. 30, 2010, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla. The crypt side service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Aid Center through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.
LuDeane was born June 24, 1933, as one of twins to Raymond Daniel and Mary Lee Cole Neff in Nephi, Utah, and was one of 13 children. She received her education in the Spring Lake and Payson, Utah, areas. She married Doyle Glen Walker in 1955, and they raised five children. They later divorced.
She married Robert Baumann on Feb. 17, 1990, in Walla Walla. They lived in the Lowden area until Bob retired and they bought a home in College Place, where she resided until her death.
LuDeane is survived by her husband, Robert, at the home; daughters, Danna Partridge of Walla Walla, Teresa Beck of Great Falls, Mont., Sherrie Richardson of Baker City, Ore.; son and daughter-in-law, Max
and Michelle Walker of Belfair, Wash. Surviving siblings are LeRaye (Jack) Jones of Walla Walla, Eugene (Gloria) Neff of Yuma, Ariz., Carol (Robert) Hawkins of Wellsville, Utah, and Dan Neff of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Ray, Christina, Jennifer, Aaron, Amber, Max and Brandy and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings and a daughter, Carol RayDeane Kelsay in 1991.
