St. Paul's Episcopal plans blessing of animals Monday

WALLA WALLA - A Blessing of the Animals will be 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 323 Catherine St.

St. Paul's Episcopal begins First Thursday concerts

WALLA WALLA - St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 323 Catherine St., will begin its First Thursday concerts at 12:15-12:50 p.m. Thursday. GSM offers personal ministry training to begin Wednesday

WALLA WALLA - Good Samaritan Ministries is offering Personal Ministry Training beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Training focuses on personal growth and ministry development and meets each week. It consists of the study of Life of the Beloved, faith, hope and love in relationships, and the Healing Miracles of Jesus. Good Samaritan Ministries is a faith-based, volunteer manned, donation- funded counseling and training ministry offering free services to the community. Classes are open to the public. SonBridge Community to host Beth Moore Bible study

COLLEGE PLACE - SonBridge Community Center, 1200 S.E. 12th St., will host "Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith" from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, weekly through Dec. 15.

The series is a DVD Bible study about how to really believe God, led by Beth Moore.

Touchet Valley pastors issue ‘call to prayer' for Thursday

DAYTON -The next "call to prayer," sponsored by Touchet Valley pastors, will at 7 p.m. Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 601 S. Third St. in Dayton. The Rev. Greg Bye will host. Speaker will be Pastor Joy Punnoose, president of the Native Missionary Movement.

Prayer will led by Touched Valley pastors and coffee will be offered afterward. Check the Native Missionary Movement website www.nmmindia.org

Wesley United Methodist sets rummage, baked goods sale

MILTON-FREEWATER - Wesley United Methodist Church, 816 S. Main St., will have a rummage and baked goods sale, 9 a.m-4 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Proceeds will benefit church programs and missions. Call 541-938-7125 for information.

Christian Women's Connection luncheon Oct. 13

WAITSBURG - Christian Women's Connection's luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 13 in the Lions Club Building at the Waitsburg Fairgrounds.
