MILTON-FREEWATER - A benefit dinner for Joseph Buzard is planned for 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Milton-Freewater Elks Lodge, 611 N. Main St.
Buzard suffers from a pancreatic disorder that causes his pancreas to create gallstones, despite having no gallbladder. The self-employed mechanic has experienced liver failure and a number of other related health issues and cannot afford health insurance, according to family members.
The spaghetti feed will be followed by a silent auction.
