MILTON-FREEWATER -- Administrators from the Umatilla-Morrow Education Service District will be in town Tuesday to outline its contracting services for administrative hires.
The meeting is scheduled at McLoughlin High School at 7 p.m.
The Milton-Freewater School Board is looking at the contracted services as a possibility as it conducts a search for a new superintendent.
Superintendent Marilyn McBride submitted her resignation last school year, to be effective at the end of the 2010-11 school year.
Contracting a superintendent through the Umatilla-Morrow ESD was discussed by the board during its September meeting as a potential cost-saving alternative.
The ESD offers a range of contracted services for positions that range from superintendent, business services, payroll, human resources and special education, according to a news release.
Tuesday's meeting is open to the public. Community involvement and feedback is expected to help shape the search for a new superintendent.
