Walla Walla School board switches to earlier meeting time

WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla School Board will hold a regular meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., moving its typical meeting time up an hour.

The board plans to meet at the new time through the end of the year.

Meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted, and are open to the public. The board meets in the district's board room at 364 S. Park St.

On Tuesday, the board will hear about Berney Elementary School's student council; the Walla Walla youth track meet "Breath for Life;" an update on enrollment, and a report from Superintendent Mick Miller.

The board is expected to consider any new hires, resignations, or out-of-state travel requests as part of its consent agenda; and a revision to a board policy on voucher certification and approval.
