PREP VOLLEYBALL — Rosalia edges past Touchet in five


TOUCHET - Rosalia took a five-set volleyball victory from Touchet Tuesday.

The Indians, hosting the Spartans, won the second (25-18) and fourth (25-20) sets, but couldn't pull it out in the 16-14 loss in the fifth.

Rosalia took the first set, 25-19, and the third, 25-22.

Josie Sewell led the Indians with 15 kills. Taylor Jasperson had 11 assists, Kristin Warner had two blocks and Sewell had seven aces.

Briann Maley led the Spartans with 17 kills, Lucy Irish had 17 assists, and Maley and Mackenzie Reddish had three blocks each. Irish also had five aces.

Touchet is now 0-8 on the season.
