WALLA WALLA - The Walla Walla YMCA now has registration for its Youth Basketball League open.
The league is for boys in grades 1-2, and girls in grades 1-8. There will be two practices a week, scheduled from 3:30-6:30 p.m. All games will be played Saturdays.
League play begins Oct. 23 and runs through Dec. 18.
Volunteer coaches are needed. A coaching clinic will be conducted by Whitman College women's basketball coach Michelle Ferenz and Walla Walla Community College women's coach Bobbi Hazeltine from 6:30-8 p.m. Oct. 20.
