COLLEGE PLACE -- A power failure cut electricity to about 62 residences Sunday evening.
The blackout occurred about 7:30 p.m. as Pacific Power crews were at work to repair electrical equipment at 1020 Puff Lane. The equipment had been damaged after being struck by a vehicle about 5:17 p.m. that evening.
Power was restored at 9:27 a.m., a utility spokeswoman said today.
